Willi Seitz is a native of Karlsruhe, Germany, and a survivor of the Holocaust. He was expelled from a German school for refusal to participate in Nazi youth functions and because of his involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Seitz was forced into the Erziehungsheim (juvenile home), but fled to France, and later to Switzerland. Seitz's father, Josef Seitz, was a survivor of Buchenwald.
